NEET (National Economic Education Trust) Bursary South Africa 2025
For disadvantaged South African youth, financial constraints can create significant hurdles in their pursuit of tertiary studies.
The National Economic Education Trust (NEET) Bursary program steps in to bridge this gap.
They offer the much-needed financial support for deserving students with a focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields.
About National Economic Education Trust
Established in the early 1990s, NEET is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the educational development of qualified youth from disadvantaged communities.
Recognizing the vital role STEM fields play in South Africa’s economic growth, NEET prioritizes bursaries for students pursuing careers in these important sectors.
Their initial funding came from a R30 million government grant, and since then, they have distributed over R44 million in bursaries and support services, impacting the lives of over 6,500 graduates.
