The Monocle Foundation Bursary offers comprehensive financial support to female students from previously disadvantaged backgrounds pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate studies in fields relevant to Monocle’s expertise – Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) as well as Business fields like Accounting, Finance, and Economics.

Monocle Foundation Bursary Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Monocle Foundation Bursary, you must meet the following criteria:
- You must be a South African citizen.
- You must be female.
- You must be Black (African, Coloured, or Asian).
- You must have completed your Matriculation certificate.
- You must be pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in one of the following fields: Accounting, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, or Medicine (other relevant fields may also be considered).
- You must be in your second year of study or higher.
- You must be enrolled at a recognized and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa.
- You must demonstrate financial need and have limited to no funding towards your education.
- You cannot be receiving any other bursary funding for your studies.
Monocle Foundation Bursary Application Requirements
