Katapult Business School is a private higher education institution provisionally registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) until 2023.
Located in Bedfordview, Gauteng, the school offers a three-year (NQF Level 7) business and marketing degree program.

About Katapult Business School Bursaries
Katapult Business School recognizes the financial challenges students often face when pursuing higher education.
Their bursary program aims to bridge the financial gap, offering three categories of bursaries specifically for their Bachelor of Marketing Management degree:
- Full Bursary: Covers tuition and exam fees for the entire year.
- Half Bursary: Covers 50% of tuition and exam fees.
- Part Bursary: Covers 12.5% of tuition and exam fees.
These bursaries are renewable for the second and third year of study, contingent upon maintaining a strong academic performance.
It’s important to note that bursary recipients are responsible for registration fees, textbooks, and any other additional study costs.
Katapult Business School Bursary Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for a Katapult Bursary, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
First-Year Students:
- Category 1: Minimum overall average of 80% in Matric and either a minimum of 75% for Mathematics or Accounting and English 1st Language in Matric OR a minimum of 80% for English 1st Language and English 2nd Language.
- Category 2: Minimum overall average of 70% in Matric and either a minimum of 65% for Mathematics or Accounting and English 1st Language in Matric OR a minimum of 70% for English 1st Language and English 2nd Language.
- Category 3: Minimum overall average of 60% in Matric and either a minimum of 60% for Mathematics or Accounting and English 1st Language in Matric OR a minimum of 65% for English 1st Language and English 2nd Language.
Second and Third-Year Students:
- Category 1 & 2: Achieved a minimum overall average of 85% (Category 1) or 80% (Category 2) in the previous year of study, along with a minimum of 75% (Category 1) or 80% (Category 2) for all modules taken.
Preference for bursaries is given to students from previously disadvantaged communities and those facing extreme financial hardship.
Katapult Business School Bursary Application Requirements
To apply for a Katapult Business School Bursary, you’ll need to submit the following:
- Completed Katapult Business School Application Form
- Completed Katapult Business School Questionnaire
- Certified copies of:
- Your ID document or passport
- Your Matric certificate
- ID document/passport of the person responsible for covering outstanding fees (if not receiving a full bursary)
Incomplete applications will not be considered.
