About the SITA Bursary

SITA Bursary Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the SITA Bursary, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Have completed Matric in 2023.
- Achieved a minimum overall average of 70% in your Matric exams.
- Be planning full-time studies towards a degree in one of the listed ICT fields in 2024.
- Be registered or accepted at a recognized and accredited public tertiary institution in South Africa.
- Not be receiving any other bursary funding.
- Students from previously disadvantaged backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.
SITA Bursary Application Requirements
Applications for the SITA Bursary are submitted online.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit the following documents:
- Certified copy of your South African Identity Document (ID)
- Certified copy of your Matric Certificate or Statement of Results
- Acceptance letter from your chosen tertiary institution (on official letterhead)
- A well-structured Curriculum Vitae (CV)
