The National Energy Regulator of South Africa Bursary Requirements
To be eligible for the National Energy Regulator of South Africa Bursary, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Be enrolled in or intend to enroll for a Master’s or PhD degree in a field relevant to the South African energy sector.
- Be studying or have been accepted to study at a recognized university or university of technology in South Africa.
- Have a strong academic record and demonstrate potential for academic success.
- Come from a previously disadvantaged background.
- Be in demonstrably financial need.
- Not be in receipt of any other bursary funding.
- Be committed to pursuing a career in the South African energy sector.
The National Energy Regulator of South Africa Bursary Closing Date
The closing date for the NERSA Bursary application is typically in February each year. The bursary application cycle for the 2024 academic year will end on 9 February 2024.
