AIMS Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the AIMS Google DeepMind Scholarship, you must meet the following requirements:

  1. African Citizenship: You must be a citizen of any African country.
  2. Residency: You must be residing anywhere in Africa at the time of application.
  3. Academic Qualification: You must hold a four-year undergraduate degree or a three-year undergraduate degree with an Honours year completed by August 2024 (or December 2024 for Southern African applicants).
  4. Field of Study: Your undergraduate degree should be in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related field with a strong foundation in mathematics and computation.
  5. Master’s program enrollment: You must be enrolling in a Masters degree program.
  6. No prior AIMS scholarship: You cannot have previously received a scholarship award from AIMS.
  7. Passion for STEM: You must demonstrate a strong passion for Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning.

AIMS Scholarship Application Requirements
