Fields of Study Funded

Funding is available for full-time undergraduate or postgraduate degrees or diplomas in the financial field—such as accounting, financial management, investment banking, and risk management.

Benefits for Recipients

• Covers full university tuition fees and prescribed textbooks for one year.
• Recipients are typically required to complete a one-year internship within the municipality after graduation.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, you must meet all of the following:

1. Be a South African citizen residing within the Cederberg Municipal Area.
2. Have completed Matric.
3. Be registered or provisionally accepted for full-time study in a finance-related qualification at an accredited South African tertiary institution.
4. Demonstrate financial need and comply with institutional entry requirements.

1. Download or collect the official bursary application form from the Cederberg Municipality’s website or municipal offices.
2. Complete the form and submit it with all required certified documents in a sealed envelope marked “Application for financial bursary: Cederberg Municipality” to:
