The Deloitte’s Financial Contribution fund helps students who have been awarded a training contract at Deloitte to achieve their Chartered Accountant designation.

About the Organisation

Deloitte is a major professional services firm operating in South Africa. 

The Financial Contribution Fund is designed to support “the best and brightest students” to become Chartered Accountants (CA). 

It is part of Deloitte’s student support & training programme.

Fields of Study Funded

  • Chartered Accountancy stream, including undergraduate CA-recognised degrees
  • Postgraduate CTA / PGDA qualifications required for the CA pathway

Benefits for Recipients

  1. The Contribution is paid directly to a SAICA-accredited institution.
  2. It covers tuition and academic materials first.
  3. If any funds remain, remaining portion goes toward accommodation.
  4. Renewable every year based on academic performance, for the full duration of undergraduate or postgraduate (CTA/PGDA) studies.

Eligibility Criteria

You are eligible if you satisfy the following:

  • You must be awarded a Training Contract at Deloitte.
  • Demonstrate academic performance and financial need.

How to Apply

  1. Applications must be submitted via Deloitte’s “Financial Contribution” page once you have been awarded a training contract.
  2. There is an online application link on the Deloitte site under students / fund your studies.

Closing Dates for 2026 Cycle

  1. Matric applications are open and closed 31 July 2025.
  2. Undergraduate applications closed 31 August 2025.
  3. PGDA / CTA applications are open continuously throughout the year for both 2025 & 2026.

Required Documents

While the Deloitte page does not list every document, the following are implied or required under “Begin your CA Journey”:

  1. Proof of registration at a SAICA-accredited institution (for university students)
  2. School academic record (Matric / Grade 11 or 12) as part of the process to apply for a training contract.
  3. Identity documents etc., though this is under “Begin Your CA Journey” section.
