Accounting (CA Stream – SAICA) Bursary Requirements
- You must be a South African citizen.
- You should be under 27 years old.
- Completed Matric? Check.
- Studying towards a BCom Accounting or BAcc (CA stream) degree.
- In your 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of study or doing PGDA/CTA.
- Maintain a minimum overall average of 65%.
- Scored at least 65% in Accounting, Auditing, and Taxation subjects.
- Attending a recognized and accredited South African tertiary institution.
Biological and Agricultural Sciences Bursary Requirements
- Same citizenship and age criteria apply.
- Finished Matric? Yes.
- Pursuing a BSc in Microbiology, Plant Pathology, Botany, Zoology, Genetics and Biotechnology, or any Agricultural degree.
- Currently in your 3rd or 4th year of study.
- Maintaining a minimum overall average of 60%.
- Attending a recognized and accredited South African tertiary institution.
Criminology Bursary Requirements
- Again, South African citizenship and age limit.
- Matric? Done.
- Studying towards a Bachelor of Criminology, BA Law/BA Social Work with Criminology as a major, or BA Honours in Criminology.
- Currently in your 2nd year of study.
- Maintaining a minimum overall average of 65%.
- Attending a recognized and accredited South African tertiary institution.
Data Science Bursary Requirements
- Same citizenship and age criteria apply.
- Completed Matric? Good.
- Studying towards a degree or postgraduate qualification in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Operational Research, Quantitative Management, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or Data Engineering.
- In your 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of study or doing Honours.
- Maintaining a minimum overall average of 60%.
- Achieved at least 65% in Mathematics from your 2nd year of study.
- Attending a recognized and accredited South African tertiary institution.
Food Science Bursary Requirements
- Yep, South African citizenship and age under 27.
- Graduated Matric? Great.
- Pursuing a qualification in Food Technology (Food Tech) or Food Science.
- Currently in your 3rd or 4th year of study.
- Maintaining a minimum overall average of 60%.
- Attending a recognized and accredited South African tertiary institution.
Information Technology/Systems Bursary Requirements
- Citizenship and age criteria remain the same.
- Matric? Check.
- Studying towards a BSc/BCom majoring in Information Technology/Systems Analysis.
- In your 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of study.
- Maintaining a minimum overall average of 60%.
- Attending a recognized and accredited South African tertiary institution.
Retail Business Management Bursary Requirements
- South African citizenship and age under 27? Yes.
- Finished Matric? Good to go.
- Pursuing a Diploma in Retail Business Management.
- Currently in your 1st, 2nd, 3rd year, or doing an Advanced Diploma.
- Maintaining a minimum overall average of 65%.
- Attending a recognized and accredited South African tertiary institution.
Supply Chain & Logistics Bursary Requirements
- Again, South African citizenship and age limit apply.
- Matric completed? Ready to move on.
- Pursuing a BCom in Logistics (Quantitative Management), a BSc in Operational Research, or a related degree.
- Currently in your 2nd or 3rd year of study.
- Maintaining a minimum overall average of 60%.
- Attending a recognized and accredited South African tertiary institution.
