About Elsenburg Agricultural Training Institute Bursary
The WCDoA’s EATI bursary program aims to support South African citizens who aspire to pursue their studies at EATI.
This bursary is available for the following qualifications:
- Bachelor of Agriculture (B.Agric) Degree (3 years): This program allows students to specialize in Plant Production, Animal Production, Plant and Animal Production, Cellar Technology/Management, or Extension and Plant Production.
- Diploma in Agriculture (3 years): Similar to the B.Agric degree, this program offers specialization options in Plant Production, Animal Production, Plant and Animal Production, or Cellar Technology.
- Equine Studies (1 year): This program follows the Equine Qualifications Authority of South Africa (EQASA) syllabus. Modules 1 to 3 equip students with comprehensive knowledge of horse care and stable yard management.
Elsenburg Agricultural Training Institute Bursary Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the EATI Bursary, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be a South African citizen
- Be currently enrolled or intend to enroll at EATI in one of the aforementioned qualifications
- Fulfill the minimum admission requirements set by EATI for your chosen program
- Demonstrate financial need (given preference)
- Belong to a previously disadvantaged background, including female applicants, black applicants, and those with disabilities (given preference)
Elsenburg Agricultural Training Institute Bursary Application Requirements
Before applying for the EATI Bursary, ensure you have the following documents:
- Certified copy of your South African ID document
- Certified copies of your academic transcripts:
- Grade 11 final results (if applicable)
- Latest Matric results (if currently in Matric)
- Matric certificate (if completed Matric)
- Academic records (if currently studying)
- Certified copies of any completed qualification certificates (if applicable)
- Certified copy of proof of registration (if available)
- Certified copies of your parent(s)/guardian(s)’ ID documents or death certificates (if deceased)
- Proof of income for your parent(s)/guardian(s) (3 months’ recent payslips if employed, sworn statement if unemployed, or proof of SASSA grant income, if applicable)
