Emfuleni Local Municipality Bursary Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the Emfuleni Local Municipality Bursary, it is important that you meet all the proposed criteria. You must:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Reside within the Emfuleni Local Municipality area.

- Have achieved a minimum average of 60% in your Matric exams.
- Be studying in one of the following fields: Commerce, Human and Social Sciences, Law, Science and Technology, Technical Skills (e.g., Electrical, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering etc.), or any other scarce and critical skill identified by the Emfuleni Local Municipality.
- Have a total household income of less than R350, 000 per annum.
- Priority will be given to students from disadvantaged backgrounds registered on the indigent database categories.
