This bursary program is offered by The Foschini Group (TFG), a leading South African retail group. It aims to support promising individuals seeking careers in fashion.

About the Foschini Group Bursary

The Foschini Group Bursary program offers financial assistance to South African students pursuing part-time or correspondence studies at specific institutions within the Educor Group.

Educor boasts a wide range of institutions offering various qualifications, including diplomas and degrees, across various fields.

Foschini Group Bursary Application Form

There are two main ways to receive a Foschini Group Bursary:

  1. Through Club Magazine: TFG Club magazine subscribers (or their immediate family members) can apply for a bursary valued at R15,000. The first 12 applications meeting the eligibility criteria each month are awarded the bursary.
  2. Through FEDISA: TFG partners with FEDISA, a tertiary institution in the Western Cape, to offer a three-year bursary program specifically for students pursuing fashion-related degrees or diplomas.

Here’s how to submit your application:

  1. Club Magazine: Interested individuals should email their applications to mytfgmedia@tfg.co.za.
  2. FEDISA: Applicants must first gain acceptance into a relevant program at FEDISA. Upon receiving a formal acceptance letter, FEDISA will guide you through the TFG Bursary application process.

Foschini Group Bursary Requirements

Club Magazine applicants must:

  1. Be active subscribers of Club Magazine (or have an immediate family member who is).
  2. Be enrolled in a part-time or correspondence program offered by one of the Educor institutions listed on the TFG website.
  3. Meet the entry requirements of the chosen program at the selected Educor institution.
  4. Ensure their Foschini Group accounts are up-to-date.

FEDISA applicants must:

  1. Gain acceptance into a relevant fashion-related degree or diploma program offered by FEDISA.
  2. Possess a strong academic record, with a focus on Mathematics, Arts & Design in their Matric results.
  3. Demonstrate an eye for business, a creative mind, and a passion for fashion.
  4. Preference may be given to students from designated groups as outlined in the Employment Equity Act.

Foschini Group Bursary Closing Date

Club Magazine applications are accepted on a rolling basis, the first 12 applications to meet their criteria each month is awarded the bursary.
