About Gumtree SA Study Fund

This bursary awards a total of R20,000 to three deserving students to fuel their academic journey.

The breakdown is simple: one lucky winner receives a life-changing R10,000 cash prize, while two runners-up each pocket R5,000 to support their studies.

Gumtree SA Study Fund Eligibility Criteria

Before applying, ensure you meet the following minimum requirements:

  1. South African Citizenship or Permanent Residency: You must be a South African citizen or hold permanent residency in South Africa.
  2. Age Requirement: Applicants must be 18 years or older.
  3. Educational Status: You must currently be enrolled in a high school, college, university, or another tertiary institution. Alternatively, you must be planning to enroll by February 2026 (date may change).
