The bursary offers a comprehensive financial support package that covers the following expenses:

Hulamin Bursary Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the Hulamin Bursary, you must meet the following minimum requirements:

  1. South African citizenship
  2. Previously disadvantaged background
  3. Completion of Matric (National Senior Certificate)
  4. Enrolled in an undergraduate program in one of the listed fields
  5. Entering your 3rd or 4th year of undergraduate study in 2025
  6. Studying at a recognized and accredited university in South Africa

  1. Download and complete the Hulamin Bursary Application Form.
  2. Gather the following supporting documents (certified copies must not be older than 3 months):
    • ID document
    • Full academic record/ transcript, including most recent results
    • Proof of University Acceptance or Registration (on university letterhead)
    • Motivational letter outlining your academic goals and reasons for applying for the bursary.
