About Massel Property Services Bursary

The Massel Property Services Bursary is designed to provide financial assistance to undergraduate and postgraduate (Honours or Masters) students pursuing qualifications in Real Estate, Valuation, and Property Studies. 

This bursary program aims to empower deserving individuals with the financial resources they need to excel in their academic endeavors and contribute meaningfully to the South African real estate sector.

Massel Property Services Bursary Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Massel Property Services Bursary, applicants must satisfy the following minimum requirements:

  1. You must be pursuing a recognized qualification in Real Estate, Valuation, or Property Studies that is accredited by the South African Council for the Property Valuation Profession (SACPVP).
  2. Your studies must be conducted at a recognized and accredited South African university or college.
  3. You must be entering your 3rd or 4th year of undergraduate studies, or your Honours or Masters year in 2025.
  4. You must be from a disadvantaged background.
  5. You must be willing to enter into a grant contract with Massel Property Services.

Please note that failure to meet all the eligibility criteria will result in your application being disqualified.

The application process for the Massel Property Services Bursary is straightforward. 

Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Request an Application Form: Applications are not available online. You must request an application form by sending an email to linda@massel.co.za.
  2. Supporting Documentation: Gather all the necessary supporting documents. These documents must be clear copies and submitted along with your completed application form. Missing documents may lead to disqualification. Here’s the list of required documents:
    • Certified copy of your ID document
    • Certified copies of all academic qualifications and certificates
    • Most recent academic record
    • Proof of registration from your academic institution
    • Quotation of your annual study fees for the 2024 academic year
    • Certified copies of your parent(s) or guardian(s)’ ID documents
    • Proof of income for your parent(s) or guardian(s) (latest payslips if employed, affidavit if unemployed, proof of pension or social grant if applicable)
    • A motivational letter explaining why you deserve the bursary award (Consider including tips on how to write a compelling motivational letter for your bursary application)
  3. Submission: Once you have completed the application form and gathered all the required documents, submit them electronically via email to linda@massel.co.za. Remember to include “Massel Bursary 2025” in the subject line of your email.
