About Mazars Bursary

The Mazars Bursary provides financial assistance to deserving South African students pursuing SAICA-accredited degrees (undergraduate or postgraduate) at SAICA-accredited tertiary institutions.

The bursary program prioritizes candidates who demonstrate exceptional academic performance and a genuine financial need.

As a recipient of the Mazars Bursary, you become part of a supportive community and gain valuable exposure to the professional world.

However, certain responsibilities accompany this prestigious award:

  1. Submit academic results to Mazars at the end of every semester.
  2. Participate in vacation work programs (at least one during your studies).
  3. Complete a three-year SAICA training contract with Mazars upon graduation.
  4. Attend Mazars social functions when required.

Mazars Bursary Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Mazars Bursary, you must meet the following minimum requirements:

  1. Be a South African citizen.
  2. Be currently enrolled in Matric or have completed Matric.
  3. Be enrolled in (or intend to enroll in) a full-time SAICA-accredited degree program in 2025 (undergraduate or postgraduate).
  4. Be enrolled in (or intend to enroll in) a program at a SAICA-accredited tertiary institution.
  5. Demonstrate a strong academic record.
  6. Demonstrate a proven financial need.
  7. Show a commitment to your studies and a future career with Mazars.

Preference will be given to Equity Equivalent (EE) students, but all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply in line with Mazars’ transformation policy.
