MiWay Bursary Application Form
Applying for this bursary is a straightforward process. All applications must be submitted online through the MiWay Bursary Portal.

The MiWay Bursary Requirements
To be eligible for the MiWay Bursary, you must meet the following criteria:
- South African Citizenship: You must be a South African citizen or permanent resident.
- Tertiary Studies: You must be enrolled or applying to study at an accredited South African university or university of technology for a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate degree in an eligible field.
- Academic Performance: You must demonstrate strong academic performance, with a minimum average of 70% in your previous year of study.
- Financial Need: You must be able to demonstrate financial need, with limited access to alternative funding sources.
- Community Service: While not mandatory, involvement in community service activities is highly regarded.

The MiWay Bursary application period normally closes in July each year. The 2024 application cycle ended on 31 July 2023.
