N3 Toll Concession (RF) Proprietary Limited is the company responsible for the design, construction, maintenance, and operation of a section of the N3 Route in South Africa.
The bursary aims to support deserving students from qualifying municipalities situated along the N3 Toll Route corridor in Mpumalanga, Free State, and KwaZulu-Natal provinces.
The N3TC Bursary prioritizes students pursuing degrees in fields relevant to the N3TC’s operations and South Africa’s development. These fields include:
- Accounting
- Civil Engineering
- Information Technology
- Marketing
- Mathematics and Science Teaching

N3TC Bursary Requirements
To be eligible for the N3TC Bursary, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be a South African citizen
- Reside within a municipality situated along the N3 Toll Route corridor in Mpumalanga, Free State or KwaZulu-Natal
- Demonstrate academic merit through strong academic results
- Be enrolled or intend to enroll for full-time studies at a recognised South African university towards a qualification in one of the N3TC’s supported fields (Accounting, Civil Engineering, Information Technology, Marketing, or Mathematics and Science Teaching)
- Demonstrate financial need
N3TC Bursary Closing Date
The application deadline for the N3TC Bursary falls in early to mid-January every year. This year, the closing date was on 12 January 2024 (at 17:00).
