About the Netcare Bursary

The Netcare Bursary aims to support academically gifted South African students who demonstrate financial need.

The bursary is available for students pursuing qualifications in Pharmacy or Commerce at recognized tertiary institutions within South Africa.

The bursary offers comprehensive financial support, covering tuition fees, prescribed textbooks, accommodation, and a living allowance.

This allows awardees to focus on their studies without financial constraints.

To be eligible for the Netcare Bursary, you must meet the following criteria:

Be a South African citizen.
Have completed your Matriculation certificate.
Be currently studying or intend to study towards a qualification in Pharmacy or Commerce.
Be enrolled or have been accepted for enrollment at a recognized South African tertiary institution.
Possess a strong academic record.
Demonstrate proven financial need.
(Preference will be given to previously disadvantaged students.)
