NFVF International Bursary for 2025

The National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF) offers the NFVF International Bursary to help South African students pursue postgraduate film and television studies abroad. This bursary gives students the chance to gain advanced skills and knowledge not available in South Africa, helping them compete internationally in the film industry.

About the NFVF International Bursary

The NFVF is part of the Department of Arts and Culture. It created this bursary to equip film and television professionals with the skills needed to succeed globally.

The bursary supports full-time postgraduate studies at accredited universities outside South Africa, focusing on programs not available locally. It covers a large part of the tuition and living costs, reducing financial pressure so students can focus on their studies and career development.
