NSFAS Calls on Over 7,000 TVET Students to Re-Upload Bank Account Information to Receive June Allowances.

In a bid to ensure timely payments, the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) is urging Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) college students who failed the May 2024 bank verification to re-submit their banking details.

This comes after over 7,000 students failed the verification process, resulting in delayed payments.

How to Upload Your Bank Details For NSFAS Allowance

  1. Visit the myNSFAS portal:
  2. Log in using your myNSFAS credentials.
  3. Under “Profile Information,” select “Bank Account Details.”
  4. Enter your bank details from your chosen bank.
  5. Click “Save.”

Important

  • Only students with confirmed funding and submitted registration data can add their banking details on the myNSFAS portal.
  • NSFAS will verify all submitted bank accounts.
  • The new direct payment system means that previous NSFAS Direct bank accounts will no longer be used.
