Omnia Bursary Requirements

For an applicant to be eligible for the Omnia Bursary program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. South African citizenship
  2. Enrolled full-time in a qualifying STEM-related program in 2024 (excluding diplomas and higher certificates)
  3. First-time enrollment in the current qualification level (no repeat degrees or honors)
  4. Minimum of 65% average pass rate in your previous studies, including Mathematics (pure) and Science if completed Matric in 2023
  5. Studying at a public university or TVET college registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) and the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA)

It is important to note that not meeting all the above requirements will disqualify you from the application process.
