About the Schoeman Coetzee Bursary
The Schoeman Coetzee Bursary provides financial assistance to South African students enrolled in a BCom Hons/CTA program at a SAICA-accredited institution (such as UNISA or similar distance learning programs).
The bursary covers tuition fees and the cost of required study materials.
This program is designed to support students who demonstrate exceptional academic potential, a passion for accounting and auditing, and a strong work ethic.

Schoeman Coetzee Bursary Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Schoeman Bursary, you must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Completion of Matric.
- A minimum of 70% (Level 6) for all Matric subjects, including Mathematics (not Math Literacy) and English (first or second language).
- A strong and consistent academic record.
- Proven excellence in extracurricular activities.
- Enrollment in a part-time BCom Hons/CTA program at a SAICA-accredited institution.
- A demonstrable passion for the accounting and auditing sectors.
- Strong ambition and a drive to succeed.
Schoeman Coetzee Bursary Application Requirements
If you meet the eligibility criteria, you can apply for the Schoeman Bursary by submitting the following documents (all copies must be certified):
- Your South African ID document.
- Certified copies of your Grade 11 final results and Matric final results.
- Certified copies of your parents’ or guardians’ South African ID documents.
