The admission process for TVET colleges in South Africa typically involves the following steps:

1. Obtain an application form: Application forms are available online or in person at the college’s admissions office.
2. Complete the application form: Read the instructions carefully and fill out all sections accurately.
3. Gather supporting documents: These may include certified copies of IDs.
4. Apply: This may consist of uploading the completed application form, proof of payment, or bursary office approval notice.
5. Wait for admission approval: The campus will verify the documents and notify the applicant of the admission decision. 

Some TVET colleges may have additional steps in the application process, such as an online pre-screening test, Career Guidance Exploration, and Pre-Entry Placement Assessment. 

TVET colleges offer courses at levels 1–4 on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF), and some also provide Higher Certificates at level 5.
