Entry and duration
- Grade 12 with an aggregate of at least 40%.
- N4, N5 and N6 take six months each.
- For the National N Diploma, you also need 18 months of relevant workplace experience after N6.

Part-time Public Management registrations have been handled at Msunduzi Campus (033 341 2215). UTVET ran a part-time business studies application window from 13 to 31 July 2026.
National N Diploma requirements must be completed by 30 June 2029 during the NATED teach-out, so plan your workplace experience early.
