Wesolve4x Bursary South Africa 2025
Wesolve4x is a non-profit foundation dedicated to improving Mathematics education in South Africa, particularly for learners from disadvantaged backgrounds.
They offer weekend tutoring programs for Grades 4 to 12, provide monthly grocery hampers to their students, and even run classes to teach parents basic mathematics to help with homework.
Recognizing the critical shortage of actuaries in South Africa (only 1786 as of their data), Wesolve4x established a bursary program to support students pursuing Actuarial Science qualifications at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
About the Wesolve4x Bursary
This bursary offers comprehensive financial support to successful applicants.
The benefits include coverage for:
- Annual registration fees
- Tuition fees
- Meals
- Accommodation
- Prescribed textbook allowance
- Travel allowance
- Pocket allowance
However, there’s a unique aspect to this bursary: recipients are required to give back to the community by providing weekend Mathematics classes to students in Grades 4 to Matric at designated public or private schools near their universities.
This not only benefits the students but also allows bursary holders to gain valuable teaching experience.
