WPN Bursary South Africa 2025

The Women’s Property Network boasts over 400 members across South Africa, with active chapters in Gauteng, Western Cape, and KwaZulu-Natal.

Through their Educational Trust, WPN awards bursaries to deserving female students from previously disadvantaged backgrounds.

Since 2008, the WPN Bursary Program has empowered over 90 female students with financial support to pursue their education in property-related fields.

About the WPN Bursary

The WPN Bursary offers financial assistance to South African female students enrolled full-time in undergraduate degree or diploma programs related to the built environment or property sector.

It primarily covers tuition fees, with the possibility of extending to study materials upon submission of a valid quotation and list of required books from the institution’s official bookstore.

WPN Bursary Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the WPN Bursary, you must meet the following criteria:

  1. Be a South African citizen
  2. Identify as female
  3. Be enrolled full-time in a property-related undergraduate degree or diploma program at a recognized and accredited public tertiary institution in South Africa
  4. Be entering your second year or higher of study in the 2025 academic year.
  5. Possess a strong academic record with a minimum overall average of 65% in your previous year of study
  6. Demonstrate proven financial need and hail from a previously disadvantaged background

WPN Bursary Application Requirements

If you meet all the eligibility criteria mentioned above, the next step is to submit a completed WPN Bursary Application Form for 2025.

Upon receiving your application, WPN will contact shortlisted candidates requesting further information and supporting documents. These documents may include:

  1. Certified copy of your ID document
  2. Full academic record/transcripts, including most recent results, on official institutional letterhead
  3. Proof of registration for the 2025 academic year, on official institutional letterhead
  4. Proof of income for your parents or guardians (latest payslips if employed, affidavit if unemployed, or proof of social grant or pension if applicable)
