The bursary covers tuition fees, accommodation, and living expenses.

Fields of Study Funded

Applicants studying or intending to study toward a Degree or Diploma in any of the following fields are eligible:

  1. Agriculture
  2. Education
  3. Finance
  4. Human Resources
  5. Medical-related (e.g., Dietitian, Nursing, Occupational Therapy)
  6. Social Work / Psychology

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, you must:

  1. Be a permanent resident of the Khai-Ma Municipal area in the Northern Cape
  2. Be in Matric or have completed Matric
  3. Be accepted to or enrolled at a recognized South African institution for a Degree or Diploma in one of the funded fields

How to Apply

  1. Obtain the application form from any of these locations:
    • Aggeneys High School (8 School St, Aggeneys)
    • Pofadder High School (Springbok St, Pofadder)
    • CLO Offices in Pella, Onseepkans, Pofadder, or Witbank
  2. Complete the form and attach all required certified documents.
  3. Submit your application according to instructions on the form—typically via drop-off at schools or CLO locations before the closing date.

Required Documents

Include certified copies of:

  • South African ID
  • Latest Matric results (if currently in Matric) or Matric certificate (if completed)
  • Full academic record for current students, on official institution letterhead
  • Proof of admission or registration at a tertiary institution
  • Proof of residence in the Khai-Ma Municipal area

Closing Date

No official closing date for the 2026 bursary has been released by the Black Mountain.
