CSG is a global customer experience, billing and payments software company with more than 4 000 staff in over 120 countries and South African offices in Cape Town and Johannesburg. Its bursary funds South African students from second year onwards in the technology and business fields it recruits from, and pays a monthly stipend on top of fees.
About the CSG Bursary
- Fields: computer science, information technology, ICT and software development, accounting and finance, human resources and industrial psychology, and related fields.
- Covers tuition fees, prescribed textbooks and a monthly stipend.
- Awarded for one academic year and renewable on academic performance.
- Bursars may be offered vacation work and graduate roles at CSG.
CSG Bursary eligibility requirements
- South African citizen with a Matric certificate.
- In the second year or later of full-time study in a listed field at a recognised South African university, university of technology or college.
- A good academic record.
- Preference for designated groups in line with CSG’s employment equity policy.
How to apply for the CSG Bursary
- Watch CSG’s careers pages at csgi.com/careers and South African bursary listings for the 2027 advert.
- Complete the online application and upload a certified ID, academic transcripts on the institution’s letterhead, a one-page motivation letter and a one-page CV.
- Submit before the closing date. Shortlisted candidates are interviewed by CSG South Africa.
