This article will explain the process of applying for a SASSA grant online and guide you through the steps you will need to take.
What SASSA Grants Can I Apply for Online?
Currently, you cannot apply for all SASSA grants online.
The SASSA online application system allows applications for the following grants:

- Disability Grant: Available to South African citizens with a permanent disability that limits their ability to work and earn a living.
- Child Support Grant: Available to caregivers of children under 18 years old from low-income households.
The Social Relief of Distress (SRD) Grant application process is currently separate from the online system.
You can find information on applying for the SRD Grant on the dedicated SASSA website.
