SizweNtsalubaGobodo (SNG) is an African accounting and advisory firm resulting from the 2011 merger between Gobodo Incorporated and SizweNtsaluba VSP.

Gobodo Incorporated held historical significance as the first black chartered accountant firm in South Africa, employing the country’s first African black female chartered accountant.

SNG carries on this legacy by fostering diversity and leadership potential within the accounting profession.

The SizweNtsalubaGobodo Bursary program specifically targets South African students pursuing a career in Chartered Accountancy.

SizweNtsalubaGobodo Bursary Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the SizweNtsalubaGobodo Bursary, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

  2. Currently enrolled in Grade 11 or Matric (final year of high school)
  3. Achieve a minimum of 60% in both English and Mathematics
  4. Demonstrate financial need (previously disadvantaged individual)
  5. Possess a strong desire to become a Chartered Accountant (SA)
