The Stellenbosch Municipality Bursary is a financial support program established to help out academically deserving students living within the Stellenbosch municipal area and its surrounding regions.

Stellenbosch Municipality Bursary Eligibility Requirements

For you to be considered qualified for the Stellenbosch Municipality bursary, you must meet the following criteria:

  1. Be a South African citizen.
  2. Permanently reside within the Stellenbosch municipal area or surrounding regions (WC024).
  3. Have completed or be in the process of completing your Matriculation (Grade 12) with a strong academic record.
  4. Be studying or intending to study full-time toward an undergraduate or postgraduate qualification in one of the listed fields of study.
  5. Be currently registered or intend to register at a recognized Higher Educational and Training Institution in South Africa.
  6. Demonstrate financial need.
  7. Be currently unemployed.
