Tech-Capital is a wholly-owned Black South African company established in Centurion in 2018.
Committed to contributing to the nation’s economic growth while empowering youth and fulfilling B-BBEE requirements, the company offers a wide range of services.
These include IT consultancy, coaching and mentoring, bursary administration, software training, and land transportation services.

About the Tech-Capital Bursary
The Tech-Capital Bursary specifically supports South African students with disabilities pursuing undergraduate IT degrees.
The bursary provides financial assistance to cover the costs listed on the university tuition statement.
It’s important to note that additional expenses will not be covered.
Tech-Capital Bursary Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Tech-Capital Bursary, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be a South African citizen born in South Africa.
- Identify as Black African, Coloured, or Indian.
- Live with a disability registered and recognized by the Disability Rights Unit.
- Be enrolled in an undergraduate IT program at a recognized South African tertiary institution.
- Maintain a minimum overall average of 65%. This applies to both continuing students and first-year applicants who achieved a 65% average in their Matric (final year of high school) exams.
Tech-Capital Bursary Application Requirements
To apply for the Tech-Capital Bursary, you will need to download and complete the application form from the bursary provider’s website (if available) or request it via email.
Ensure you submit the following supporting documents along with your completed application form:
- Personal details: Full name, surname, qualification, and year of study.
- Certified copy of your South African ID document.
- Proof of disability (medical doctor’s note).
- Proof of university registration for the current year of study.
- Latest fee statement on the institution’s letterhead.
- Latest academic report on the institution’s letterhead.
