The 2027 column reflects DHET circular TC 0153, which ends new Level 2 intakes in six NC(V) programmes from January 2027.
NATED N4 to N6 (being phased out)
- Engineering: Electrical (Germiston, Kathorus, Kempton), Electronic and Avionics (Kempton), Mechanical (Germiston, Kathorus, Kempton), plus part-time engineering.
- Business: Human Resource and Financial Management (Germiston, Kathorus, Kempton), Management Assistant (Germiston, Kempton), Business and Marketing Management (Kempton).
Occupational programmes
Automotive Motor Mechanic, Early Childhood Development, Carpenter, Boilermaker, Computer Technician, Chef and Electrician. EWC sets minimum marks in mathematics or mathematical literacy and English for these.
Entry levels
Grade 9 for NQF Level 2, Grade 10 for Level 3, Grade 11 for Level 4, and Grade 12 for N4.
